yes, it's a mainshaft

... But when you bend it - you may have broken the lower jesus bolt. There's no jesus bolt with the replacement, and I can't find that bolt anywhere in the parts listings... and it's tiny. Good grief.

The part fit perfectly. I needed a main shaft after crashing my helicopter, causing the main shaft to band. This part was a direct replacement..
