    Great upgrade!

These are really nice quality, easy to install, and made a world of difference over the standard gimbals my Eachine TX16S came with. The stick ends are nice and sharp, and I can get a solid grip both pinching and using thumbs.

    Met every expectation!

I've been flying since 1989 so that's 33 years. I'm definitely not a rookie. My 1st radio was a Futaba FM 5-channel Tx. I moved to Spektrum when the original DX6 park flyer Tx cane out. I sold that when the DX7 Heli version was released (flew several electric planes and TT Raptor 50 & Align 450 SE). Meanwhile, I had a few of the RTF radios that came with RTF helis & planes (XK Models & eFlight models). I pre-ordered my 1st gen TX16S through HeliDirect. I moved all my models to my TX16S. I recently upgraded to the AG01 gimbals. These are nicest gimbals I've ever used over the years.

What a difference in smoothness and precision! I didn't understand how good they felt until I installed them. I notice they don't bounce around in the Output Monitor screen as much as the 1st gen Hall Effect gimbals. Just about everything I need to adjust is accessible without removing the back. I will be transferring these AG01 gimbals to my new TX16S MAX Mk II, when it arrives from HeliDirect, hopefully in early May.

One thing to note is that at least six months ago, RadioMaster stopped shipping the 2-pack of lubricants with the AG01s due to "logistical issues". Being a repeat customer, I'm obviously happy with Helidirect's service. I received my items within days of them getting things in stock. Anytime I've contacted them, they've been quick to respond.

Let's be honest; they're beautiful, and smooth...5 stars is a rookie rating

After watching and reading all the reviews, it seemed that these were a good match for this aspiring racer...i thought perhaps with a seemingly better product, my flight skills would improve somewhat...

IF you're a pilot, with more than a year of experience, the benefits in these gimbals might be exactly what you want. For me, I can't confirm that.

These came a little too tight for my liking, so i adjusted. And adjusted....and adjusted...the. tension, the height of the stick ends, everything. They gave me nightmares for 2 weeks.

They're beautiful, smooth, the sharp stick ends are PERFECT...but don't think they're plug and play without requiring adjustments.

Now, to be honest, I've only started racing in the sims last month, flying for 1 year in this hobby. I've been able to tackle the harder tracks on DRL - shaky at first, but eventually I watch my number drop on the leaderboard with the more experience i get, the more time i put into it, the more i fumble with the sticks.

To put into perspective - i started with my Tx16S and never adjusted the gimbals. Just before i changed the gimbals, i was getting the hang of navigating race tracks pretty well... did these help me? probably not. Will they show their worth one day? maybe?

But, they're shiny and look well made! Right? yes, absolutely, these are a beautiful piece...

But...if we look at the latest TX16S that is coming out soon, the gimbals seem to be the SAME pieces without the CNC work. I think, the value here is in the aesthetic moreso than any engineered component, but that's yet to be seen.

As for now, with my experience - do i like them? yes. Would i recommend them? Maybe... eveyrone's skillset is different, this is just my thoughts NOW and they can change.

I'm considering putting the original gimbals back on my TX to see how it feels to fly with them. IF my times drop even more, then i know for sure - these weren't worth the value to ME. To the next person, try looking at the TX16s with the later version gimbals, or the newest version with adjustments from the outside - your money would be better sent there.

I think... but what do i know? just trying to provide an honest review :)
