This should be a 5 star product. And if I can ever get it figured out enough to bind it to even a flysky esc, then I will rate this appropriately. Unfortunately, like I knew going in, this is more for people who can do some computer stuff. That is just out of my wheel house for now. I will eventually use the included reciever in one of my rc cars so I can hopefully use this radio. It looks and feels really good. Again, it is just above my intelligence level.
I also have a Boxer so not new to the brand but for surface, they knocked it out of the park. Add in fast shipping from HeliDirect and I was out crawling the same weekend of the order.
This product came with a compatible receiver that can be input into a boat kit. I like it because it connect to lower channel like steering and throttle.
Great, fast service. I'll definitely be back for future purchases.
This radio was made by a company who has been making air radios for sometime now. I purchased the 4-in-1 version. There is a little learning experience with this radio unlike what you are use to you program the buttons and switches. Not really hard as it sounds there are many YT videos on how to program EdgeTX & the MT12. Unfortunately the radio come with the throttle on Ch1 & Steering on Ch2 while ground pounders normally do Ch1 steering & Ch2 throttle. So the included models are all wrong. The easiest was is to delete all the included model and start from scratch. But 1st go into the system menu and change the order from TS to ST. From then on every model you create will have the correct channel order. With the 4-in-1 module you might need to be patient while the developers add some of the ground protocols we use, you have to remember it started out with mainly protocols that were used in air vehicles. Some can't be ported as they use a chip that is not in the 4-in-1 module such as Flysky's ANT protocol. This is a nice radio and I do no regret buying it at all.
My finger feels trapped behind the wheel .I don't have big hands but it is tight trying to pull the throttle. I Like almost everything else , but this issue with the small space for your finger is quite a problem .I have over a hundred RC vehicles and have never seen this before with a Radio Controller . I have been doing this hobby since I was a small child . I would think they would have thought this out better.
Excellent product which is upside down the world with extra accessories (could be invincible). Only take time to learn those features.
